How Does Sculptra Work?
Sculptra is injected into or under the facial skin through a small needle, into the deep layer of the skin where collagen naturally exists. Initially, Sculptra fills a wrinkle with PLLA beads, which, as they degrade into the body, boost new collagen production. It may be used for correcting shallow nasolabial fold contour deficiencies and wrinkles. Also, it has proven effective for correcting wrinkles and fine lines in the cheek region. How Long Is the Treatment?
A treatment regimen of Sculptra consists of up to 4 sessions scheduled 3-4 weeks apart.
How Long Do Results Last?
